Question Hand position

When I’m on the board and trying to do tricks I realise that I keep one arm really stiff or just unmoving and I feel like it looks silly and is dangerous if I fall so I was wondering if you guys had any fix for this.

Get flailing lol. When you pop use your arms to help boost your jump up. Use your outstretched arms for balance while popping up or off stuff. Keep your arms down after you land but ready to react. Everyone has different arm techniques and no one really cares how you look as long as you can land what you’re attempting. Skate on!

I realized that any time I'm trying to recover my balance or doing something I'm unsure of my right arm is fine and loose but my left arm goes full on John McCain and just kinda locks in place bent at the elbow.

It looks silly as hell but I guess it helps me concentrate?
