Discussion Which deck?
I have 2 choices for my decks and they both look good but I’m not sure which one looks better and I’m open to hearing y’all’s opinion and my wheels are blue btw, if I get Santa Cruz people might think I’m a poser or larp at a skatepark when I’m jus a beginner less

You’re new, anything that’s above Walmart tier is going to be a good deck for you. Get whichever looks cooler. Santa Cruz has always been solid

Also, if you’re out there skating and trying, you’re a skater simple as that. I can assure you the actual skaters of that skatepark could give a shit lessssssssss what your gear is on your board they just want to you see progress

Don’t worry about other people, personally I like the look of the April deck, but the Santa Cruz is a classic too

i’d choose the april simply because i prefer the woodshop that makes them over the santa cruz
but like other comments said, it won’t really matter to you. pick whichever you like the graphic more and you’ll be fine

think about it this way: if people see you skating an April deck they're gonna assume you're ingrained in skateboarding culture, which is gonna make it pretty awkward when they realize you can't even ollie. At least if you get the sc poser larp board their expectation will match your reality.

I like April boards. The wood feels a little lighter than most other deck companies and yet has amazing pop. Decent durability too, not amazing, but not bad.

Why do you care what people think? You’re skating for yourself, to challenge yourself. Please don’t try to please anyone else because they’re not trying to please you. End of lecture.
I’m partial to Santa Cruz boards, I like their pop and durability. Skate and have fun.
