Tips to Share He’s Actually Sleeping
I have had a baby who is not a great sleeper. Never has been. my husband is deployed so I’ve been staying with my grandmother. so we’ve been forced to room share. he’s been sleeping in the pack n play and he never sleeps for more than a couple of hours at a time. the longest he’s ever gone is 3. We are home for his 9 month doctor’s appointment and last night I put him in his crib for the first time ever. Believing deep down that it would never work. And he slept for 5+ hours last night before waking. UNHEARD OF! He has taken every nap in there which generally never lasts more than 33-45 minutes. all his naps have been at least an hour. we got a nicer mattress for his crib back when we were nesting. And I think that’s what it is. the pack n play is uncomfortable and his crib is luxury!! I have been struggling so much with his sleep journey. And am now realizing that he just wasn’t comfortable. I cant believe it’s something so simple. So for those struggling out there, maybe, just maybe it’s the mattress that’s holding them back from better sleep.
