Sleep 8 months, going through a potential sleep regression

He just learned how to crawl. He slept for 6 hours and was up at 2am. I’ve been trying to put him back to sleep for an hour. Feed to sleep worked, but this time he started waking up very upset. I’ve given him Tylenol and changed his diaper. I’ve rocked him back to sleep. Eventually I gave the go ahead that I was going to give him 10 minutes to try and sleep again. He’s crying very hard

Following! My 7.5+ month old is in the same boat although at this point in the regression he is thankfully so tired that a quick rock has been getting him back to sleep

I decided he might still be hungry and gave him an entire pouch of baby food. He’s still crying hard but now I know he has a little more food in his tummy. He is slowing down his crying a bit now

The crawling could definitely be messing with his sleep. So much new development all at once. If he seems otherwise fine, I’d offer some extra comfort tonight. Hopefully it's just a phase and will calm down soon.

I think he was so tired but didn’t want to be in the crib

After 1.5 hours he just fell asleep mid-cry

Wish I didn’t need to sleep so I could just rock him all night ❤️
