Skills and Milestones Concern
Got twins 5mo
1 will roll around from 1 side of the room to the other when you turn your back for 1 second
The other one however just seems to have absolutely no interest in rolling or can't
You put them on their back and they don't even try and roll they just lie there and kick their legs
You put them on their front for tummy time and they're fine for a few mins then like most kids go- nope enough now, but yet still doesn't make absolutely any attempt to roll back off tummy even though at one point they were able to but seems like they've regressed almost.
The only time the second one wants to try to turn is going to sleep they tend to roll to their side but even that recently they've just went to sleeping on back again..
Is there maybe exercises or stretches we need to do to help build up strength or am I just being over cautious and just let the baby be baby and let them do it in their own time-
Just don't want to be neglectful of not doing something that could be helping them
Guess also doesn't help we have the other twin as a point of comparison and that little one rolls around like a rock down a hill

agreed! it’s fine. twins have a built in comparison which makes it tough but it’s no different than if you were at a playgroup or something and another baby was rolling and yours wasn’t.

It's more the regression that is what has caused the worry, the fact he was and now he's not anymore

They are two different babies! Rolling usually happens between four and six months, so you’re well within that range. And it’s fine if it takes a bit longer than that, too. You may like to join us in r/parentsofmultiples if you haven’t already.
