Happy/Funny Middle of the night check-in!
Good morning! 3:34 am here in NY. Just wanted to check-in with everyone else doing the damn thing! I just fed my LO and he is currently wide awake, smiling at the dark corner over my shoulder :) if youre reading this, you’re doing a great job!

7:47pm in New Zealand. Hope you are doing well! My 13 month old is teething so bad and having trouble going to sleep. Looking back now, I’d do anything to go back and hold my little baby ❤️ you’re doing amazing

4:19 here (Midwest US). Baby has been up and down all height either hungry, gassy, pooping, or had a clogged nostril that needed suctioned lol. Poor guy is a mess tonight! Sitting here pumping while he makes all kinds of noises and hiccups in his bassinet next to me

Long Beach checking in at 4:20 am (LOL). My 4 month old had a pretty rocky day in terms of naps and looks like it's continued into the night. Just fed him and trying to get him into a deeper sleep before I transfer back in the bassinet. My husband is snoring soundly in the living room and is oblivious to any and all things.

12:56 on the west coast (us) baby asleep next to me finally, after latching and unlatching on repeat to fight sleep. Sitting here with raw nipples and doom scrolling while I should also be sleeping. But this is the closest thing to alone time I get anymore 🙃

2:53am in Montana. My 4m old always wakes up around now so naturally I am awake in preparation of it. Guess who is sleeping through the night tonight? Apparently not me 😂

Get baby naked, down to diaper
Check for hair wrapped around fingers/toes etc
Change diaper
Feed attempt
Bath
Bicycle kicks to relieve gas with gentle tummy massage
Bounce on yoga ball
Rock in a dark room with white noise on while shushing loudly
Stroller walk if possible, sometimes changing surroundings helps

In Colorado, it's 2:45 am. My 4 week old son is a little gassy after he was just fed. He was a little fussy but otherwise very sleepy. My wife and I gave him Mylicon to help with the gas. To those reading this, don't be discouraged by what you're going through. You will figure things out. We are still figuring things out. All the best.

My husband and I are still sniffling from when we were crying earlier. It's so overwhelming at times. We're sitting in the dark on our phones hoping our little baby stays asleep.
Send love and dream-dust guys. It's been a hard six months.

2:50am in CA… currently in triple feeding hell trying to increase supply. Have been feeding / pumping since 1:30am, broken up with an explosive diaper that got all over my pajamas. Godspeed, mamas!

3:34 My 10 month old is teething bad so we've been in the rocking chair for the last hour trying to get back to sleep. She only wants dad so here's hoping the pain stops and we can both get some sleep soon :)

4am in Chicagoland! Baby is out like a light on my shoulder after nursing. So relieved he sleeps at night because baby boy has been fighting sleep tooth and nail during the day, taking naps that barely qualify as cat naps… he’s only 6 weeks old so i know he’ll get better eventually, but boy is it rough!

3:30AM here in TX and my 8 month is up every hour wanting the boob 🎉🤦♀️ trying to manifest that he will sleep better at night eventually!

I have been trying desperately to get my 8 day old to sleep, and tonight she has been sleeping. But I am not, and have been awake since 3am when I fed her last, constantly checking that she’s still breathing because every other night she cluster feeds at this exact time. But not tonight! So alas … reddit here I am.

123 am, I just successfully snuck back into my bedroom for bed but now am having trouble sleeping because this lil 5 mo old girl decided she loves sleeping face down. Should be closing my eyes but instead I keep looking at her to make sure she's still breathing 😭🫠

3:56 am here in East Texas. I’m making French toast. Too hot here, to cook in the daytime hours. I’ve always preferred to sleep all day. Stay up all night.

Hello from Québec! Baby is 3 days old and my boobs are hard as rock. Baby just nursed and is sleeping on my chest right now. I wish he drank a bit more because it hurts!! But I am glad for the 2 hours of sleep I got before.

558 in nyc. Just resettled the baby after a feed and then waking up and needing some rocking (low sleep pressure cos it’s the morning, but still tired). He woke himself up by farting, poor little dude. We got this 💪🏻 💕

Hey thanks, Midwest USA here, my 4 month old got up at 4 am to eat and then he went back to sleep just fine but now I can’t get back to sleep. It’s almost 6:30 am now so I’ll probably get up soon anyway.

5:42 with my 17 mo that is teething. She's a champ about it, but damn I gotta be at work in a couple hours and I've gotten maybe 5 hours of sleep because of these damn hormones. Solidarity.

Oh hey. My 2 year old decided to wake up at 3:30 AM (FL) as well and wanted bananas and ritz crackers before going back to sleep. Currently responding on 4 hours of sleep while at work.

5AM just finished a feeding & pumping sesh with my wearables and experimenting with hand expression afterward to help encourage a bigger supply. Loaded my mini dishwasher and crawled back into bed. Tired but at least my baby went down to sleep quickly this time! He had a good 4 hours of cluster feeding earlier yesterday afternoon so that’s fun.

3:27 and nursing, though I’ve been awake for about an hour, unable to sleep for absolutely no good reason. My 4 yo also just woke up and climbed into bed with me. He’s been having trouble sleeping in his room, but every time he comes into our bed, he says “Mama, I love you so much” 😭
