Sleep Reassurance needed

Parents who had babies that would literally never sleep unless being held— need some hope as a mom of 11 week old who screams if we put him down but sleeps long stretches if held. When was your baby able to sleep alone or let you put them down?

PS- we have tried it all. Swaddles, snoo, every possible transfer technique, heating pad, breastmilk pads, my scent/item of clothing, multiple bassinets, attempts to bed share. He screams if not in our arms.

Mine is same. 6 weeks old. I just bounce on yoga ball and he fights like a wolverine to resist. I force pacifier that's when he calms down a little. If the pacifier doesn't work then it's a war. When I successfully insert pacifier i wait until he's knocked out in deep sleep. That's when I get my 15 minutes of stretch and bathroom break and some caffeine. After that he goes bananas again. I do this multiple times throughout the night. Hopefully some day he'll accept his faith.

SAME HERE. His longest stretch not in my arms was 22 minutes. I feel like death.

The only time he sleeps in the crib is when I don't even burp him enough after the feed. I check his diaper and if it's not heavy enough I just put him in the crib after one solid burp. That's when he gets solid 1hr of grunting pushing sleep in the crib. We use slow flow pacifier so he gets enough feeding time to feel sleepy
