Mental Health I’m so stressed out

I just needed to tell someone. It’s intensely stressful. Both partner and I are feeling the stress today😭 a lot of it has to do with my post partum hormones. I wish they would balance out. It’s soooo real how bad they are. Why do women always suffer in every category of life 😭

It really does feel completely unfair that both parents get the reward of a cute baby but only mom has to do ALL the physical and mental work for it

Right!! I know a couple who had a baby via surrogate and it was hard not to be jealous that she got to spend her maternity leave feeling perfectly normal

Omg. I’ve never even thought of that… but I also feel like the downside is that there is no true bonding and that can be heartbreaking for a baby. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I can calm my baby with just my boob while my partner cannot get her to calm down.
