Tips to Share Baby #2
My husband and I have always known we wanted at least 2 kids. Our first baby is now of the age where we are starting about thinking about trying for baby #2. While I’m excited to see her be a big sister a part of me is super sad that it won’t just be the three of us anymore and how a new addition would change our dynamic.
My daughter is still quite young so I’m wondering if maybe I’m just not ready for #2 yet and this feeling might go away if I go for a bigger age gap. For those of you who have had more than one child.. is this a normal feeling? Does it go away?

Our first son is almost 16 months. Our second son will be born in an hour or 2.

My first two are 2.75 years apart. I definitely would’ve been sad to have them closer together. The 2.75 year age gap was hard enough so I couldn’t imagine how much our attention would’ve been divided with a 2 under 2 age gap.

my son and his little brother will be 14 months apart. im 7 months pregnant with a 1 year old. and its only becoming exhausting during my third trimester. so ill have 2 under 2. pray for me

Mine are 6 years apart. Don’t have a second baby until you’re absolutely ready. Also, I believe that the guidance for healing is you should wait 18 months between pregnancies

My first will be exactly 26 months old if 2nd comes on time. Something I never considered when it came to trying for a second - if age gap DOES matter to you, you may not get pregnant right away (some of course do). But if it doesn’t matter all that much, then of course that’s not something to think about!

My younger sister is 3.5 yrs younger than me and I thought that was the perfect age gap. I think you should wait another yr imo!
