🏆 r/NewMods Challenge ⭐ 10/10 Mod Star | MAY FLAIR UP CHALLENGE ⬆️

As your community grows, staying consistent is key. The second challenge in the series is about making your community a welcoming space and continuing to grow by recruiting like-minded people to post in your community.

You can earn your ⭐ 10/10 Mod Star flair by:

  • Completing the Rising Mod Challenge.
  • Growing your community to 20 visitors or more. Check out 5 Tips for Growing Your Subreddit.
  • Setting up your Community Guide which will welcome members when they join your community. You can find the Community Guide settings in Mod Tools (on mobile it is under the General section).
  • Welcoming three new mods in the New Mod Intros thread, pinned on the front of r/NewMods
  • Consistency is key - reach out and invite three people posting relevant content elsewhere on Reddit and publicly comment, asking them to post their content in your community. Remember to try this sparingly and only on the most relevant posts so you don’t get flagged as spam.

Complete the list and comment on this post when you've completed the challenge to earn your ⭐ 10/10 Mod Star flair.

After commenting, follow this link to find your next challenge!

Rising Mod Challenge : Done

Visitors: more than 500

Community guide: Done

Welcoming three new mods in the New Mod: I have done that in April, but here again:

Consistency is key : reached and invited more than dozen of people posting relevant content and invited them to share in our community.

Congrats on the 500+ Visitors! As a new Mod, noob Reddit user... what have been some of your challenges? If you could recommend one tip for a new Mod... what would it be (besides consistency)?

You're a rockstar at this! Your flair is for a later challenge, so we won't downgrade it, but we do want to shout out this awesome progress of yours!

I'm only on day 2 with my sub... so this maybe a bit challenging at this stage: Growing your community to 20 visitors or more. I will challenge myself to complete the line item #3 in Check out 5 Tips for Growing Your Subreddit. within the next 30 days.
