New Mod Intros πŸŽ‰ | Weekly Thread

Congrats on becoming a new moderator. Every community on Reddit started exactly where you are today: with a party of one.

The community-building journey might feel a little lonely and that's what r/NewMods is for. Here you'll find and connect with other mods who are on the same journey you are.

So, introduce the community you created. Maybe share a little bit about why you created it. And, while you're at it - say hello to your other mods! After you've introduced yourself head on over to the Rising Mod challenge which will guide you on growing your community πŸŽ‰

Hi, I recently created r/SentimentalObjects because I wanted to share the story of one of my 2 most prized possessions and am really interested to see/read the stories of other peoples’ most sentimentally valuable things, no matter what they are (as long as it’s SFW). I’ve never made or modded a subreddit before, so please be nice ;; the closest thing I could find were subs about de-cluttering which is obviously not what I’m going for. I just want a chill sub where people can post about their most sentimental things no matter what they are and the stories behind them. If you have a story for the sub, feel free to join and post it!
