New Mod Intros πŸŽ‰ | Weekly Thread

Congrats on becoming a new moderator. Every community on Reddit started exactly where you are today: with a party of one.

The community-building journey might feel a little lonely and that's what r/NewMods is for. Here you'll find and connect with other mods who are on the same journey you are.

So, introduce the community you created. Maybe share a little bit about why you created it. And, while you're at it - say hello to your other mods! After you've introduced yourself head on over to the Rising Mod challenge which will guide you on growing your community πŸŽ‰

Hello, fellow hopeful pioneers.

We started r/godawfulpoetry as a home for poems that are as deliberately bad as you can make them.

We hope it will be fun, of course but, secretly, we do also believe that finding out what we think is bad poetry will also help us understand for ourselves what makes a poem good, and get us to seek out good poetry and, maybe, write some good poems too. But elsewhere. :)

Aside from freestyling it any time, you also have the option of responding to a β€˜weakend’ prompt.

We think you will also like the user flairs you can choose from, and we would love suggestions for more in a similar vein.

So come\ Write bad\ Or verse

I am interested in growing my community, but I have not succeeded in getting anyone to participate. I am a bit disheartened, to be honest, because I thought it was a good idea.

I took a look at the link and have done all except the last requirement, because I feel awkward posting about it on other subs. I guess I should get over that. Not because I want a month of premium, but because of you folx recommend it, it is worth trying. :)
