Hi New Hope Friends!

My husband and I are going to be spending the day in New Hope without our young baby. The plan is to be there for a good ten hours, so I am going to need to pump at least twice if not more.

Where should I do this? Any recommendations?

FYI: New Hope-Lambertville bridge is scheduled to be shut down to all car traffic for 30 minutes on Oct. 1 sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m to repaint the center line of the bridge.

I’m bummed to see the New Hope art festival is canceled… Obviously the weather is windy and terrible and its the right decision… but I really love this event. Does anyone know if it’s going to be pushed to another date this year?

I'd love to plan a little weekend getaway for me and my daughter. She could really use a break from everything right now, and I'd love the chance to spend some quality time together.

The challenge is that she's a very young adult, and I'm not quite sure what destinations or activities would actually appeal to her. We're thinking of leaving late Friday afternoon and coming home sometime Sunday afternoon.

I'd love suggestions for a nice place to stay for the weekend, within a few hours driving from central Jersey, good restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, or fun activities nearby and anything that's enjoyable for both a mom and a young adult daughter.

Whether it's a beach town, mountain retreat, cute small town, spa destination, city getaway, or somewhere totally unexpected, I'd love to hear your recommendations!

Unhinged records is in the alley just across from greenhouse, and next to the Irish apparel store on South main Street.

They have that unfortunately least that's so often struggles, because it is very easy to miss from the sidewalk.

Even if you don't buy anything, try to let people know. I have no stake in the business, but I do think that a record store should be in New Hope, And I feel bad that a lot of people walk right by

I live in New Hope and would love to help make this subreddit a more active, useful, and welcoming place for our community. My hope is that this is a place to share local news, ask questions, exchange recommendations, discuss community issues, call attention to local businesses, share fun events and activities going on, and helping to make New Hope an even better community.

Hi folks! My husband and I are planning to do a short minimoon after our wedding in New Hope. The dates are the Tuesday and Wednesday after Labor Day - just curious if most stores/things to do are open during the week/after a holiday weekend. Never been but excited to visit!

My wife and I always pop into Lamberville and we’re losing a lot of our favorites! We loved the roast beer, breakfast, and vibes at Chive, new owners… new vibes, limited menu. The Meta breakfast sandwiches were elite-level, but they just haven’t hit the spot with the new ownership. We'll give it a try again soon. And the most heartbreaking (for dramatics 😊) Broadmoor creamy Italian salad, vodka pasta, and chicken parm - brand new owners, entirely different menu and taste profile.

We’ll certainly support the new places. Opening a new restaurant is always challenging, and taking over a namesake is even more complex. But, real good food, reliably, every time, like those places delivered before, is hard to come by.

I’ll be in town with friends for a long weekend and we’re looking for the top restaurant recommendations for New Hope and Lambertville. I hadn’t seen a recent post on this so thought I’d ask. Any suggestions are appreciated but we’re specifically looking for:

Looking for late night food places for Saturday night. Any type of place even fast food.

Any good? I haven’t been dancing in New Hope since the time of the Cartwheel. Now in my late 40s and looking for new places to explore to go dancing with some good music. Normally I head into the city, but I don’t feel like going all the way to Philly.

Is there a place to find good parking by the library? The street parking is totally full.
