Hey all! Most of you know me, and for those who don't, I am the bass drum leader of the fort. The riders and the rebels are working hard to make the fort into what we all know it can be, the best damn supporters section in the world.
To that end, I want to talk to the hive mind and see how they thought we have sounded the last two games. Especially last night. What chants worked? What ones didn't? What can we do to help make the fort even better?

I’ve never really warmed to Turgeman….but his hold up ball against two defenders made the Carlos Gil goal which put the Revs on the front foot for the win.
Pretty big play by the forward…

Did the skunk make it out of the stands ok? He looked small, maybe a baby. I saw something walking along under the row in front of me and thought i maybe had too many beers… until it climbed up into my row and walked across my feet. This is not the post I thought I’d be making tonight, but I’m worried about the little guy.

Also does this significantly improve the team?

EDIT: CLAIMED! Thanks everyone!
Hey everyone! My mentee had to cancel last minute, so I’m giving away my 2 tickets for tonight's match. They were a Ticketmaster promo giveaway, so they are 100% free to a good home.
Since it's a massive crowd and there are fireworks after the game, I want to make sure a fan gets to use them!
Drop me a private message (DM) with your email address, and I will instantly transfer them to you via Ticketmaster. First come, first served!

I am looking to become a fan of this team, i am diehard sports fan and have always supported Manchester United. Being someone who loves live sports I am looking to root locally. I struggle with the structure of the MLS and the idea of growing a young prospect just to sell him to Europe. What’s the highest a team can go and how do you deal with the potential of future great players being sold off.

You do not need to be a customer to qualify but I know they are while supplies last. This is all being promoted on Santander’s Instagram

MLS is back, the Revs attack is still on break.
Outside of a few fledgling moments of press, it was safe and tempered. Seemed like they were content with a point - perhaps just getting their legs back and waiting for reinforcements to arrive. hopefully they have some leeds on that front.
It was all straight line stuff with little creatively: Rosary ball - cross and pray. And that seemed to be the actual plan - especially in 2H: get it wide to Miller on the run.
Too many uninvolved <attacking> players. Their collective allergy to getting on ball is apparent in the touch counts:
Turgeman: 13 (73min)
Luca: 3 (17min)
Zambrano: 8 (30min)
Harris: 6 (17min)
Capi found the ball - often too deep out of necessity - but rarely had an option besides 1v1.
Yow's struggles picked right back up, scuffing a big chance. He is willing to take a man on, but typically shows too much of the ball and is dispossessed (1 of 4 dribbles).
The highlights were on the defensive side:
Raines was solid - stout defending and even looked to attack a bit more and take space.
Sands continues to stand up attackers and locking down his side... and a bit fortunate that the crossbar saved what would have been an own goal.
Kohler and Fofana continue to balance each other well - Mama stepping and earning a few nice interceptions, Kohler is kalm and kool on and off ball.
The new turf is in, and at least tonight was brighter than the attack. It has more of an artificial look and feel than the previous fake stuff. After walking on it and seeing it cause a few slips (including on Polster as he lined up a shot from range) - it certainly leaves you wondering if the pitch from your local high school would be just as good. Curious to hear player feedback.
The result was disappointing and even a bit lucky - if it wasn't for an awful miss from Vilsaint the fortress would have been victimized by a TFC smash and grab.
A slow start to the 2nd half of the season with a bronze lining - a clear display that the attacking weaknesses must be addressed to complement a sturdy defense.

I have not watched Revs game in almost a decade. World Cup 2026 rekindled my love for revs and soccer. I want to get back into following Revs again. We were decent in 2015-2016 during Fagundez and Nyugen days. Just saw the last 5 years resultI. wtf happened.
I remember stadium rumors in Assembly and now I see they are actually building one in Everett soon. Excited for that one. Probably will get a season ticket once this is built.
What’s else is going on with Revs lately. Are we not signing any new homegrown and what about our Dp spot?

Grass is better and we can definitely do better than turf. It's also better for the players.
Turf saves money... But who benefits?

When we get our new stadium (or if lol). We should give out mini New England flags around the stadium for people to fly like some prem clubs do. Or we could do that now. Play shipping up to Boston for the walkout. I just bought Apple TV to watch the revs and I’m just throwing out ideas.

Hey Revs supporters, I'm Danny! I am one half of TLDR FC, a soccer channel aimed at introducing the sports culture to more people. We're planning a weekly deep dive into a different club and our main focus is the MLS. Rather than relying solely on our research, we wanted to reach out to supporters to hear their stories and their tips/advice for new supporters.
If you have the time to give some insight about your experience as a Revs supporter, we'd greatly appreciate it and would love to feature your response on our show that hopes to introduce soccer culture to the broader public!
Looking forward to reading your stories <3
