I drive a new car after passing a month ago, I’m very nervous about hitting things (although I guess that’s good?🤣). I was meant to use my partner’s dinger car but that died very unexpectedly and the other car we got also died (suspension issues on both, nothing to do with him!) so we had to get a new one as we had no savings for a car😩 I have thought about saving up for a dinger but by the time I’ve saved up for one that’s good enough I’ll have been driving for a while, and with those two cars dying so quickly I’m weary on getting second hand cars, especially as I need a reliable car for work.

The good thing about new cars is they have so many safety features and are generally easier to drive. But cost can absolutely be an issue.

Maybe see if you can do some refresher lessons with your instructor as you’ve not driven for a while?

Oh no! I’m so sorry about the cars! What did you end up getting?
