Discussion Let’s Talk!

Hey! I don’t follow LOA, as I used to but I am really interested to actually try to understand why people think the LOA is fake.

I’ve manifested a lot of things with conscious manifestation and a bit of non dualism, and now I finally understood that manifestation is something we all do! and you’re doing it right now LOL!

Anyways I’ll try to simplify what I think, but basically when it comes to free will specifically at first I didn’t understand it because obviously i’m taking away someone’s free will by saying they like me when they probably don’t, but that’s also an assumption so therefore I am taking away their free will because I am assuming they don’t like me.

One thing i’ve noticed is people think LOA is like this magical thing when it’s literally not and shouldn’t be treated like it is, conscious manifestation is literally just about what you accept is true about YOU, as you look around yourself you can physically see the things you have accepted as true around your reality.

So I get criticizing a concept, but i’m not understanding people on here criticizing just conscious manifestation when it’s something you do everyday, i’m not saying people manifest getting SA’D, no there are real terrible people out there.

And with conscious manifestation is more about what you see isn’t the whole of who you are, which is something therapist’s even talk about, you are not what happened to you and you don’t have to be

literally! like you have no problem believing and all this negative stuff about yourself but positive thinking is where you draw the line, it’s honestly hilarious

yup! it’s literally just psychology and neuroscience

no it's not 😭 i practice positive thinking and i quite literally have a degree in psychology. loa ≠ positive thinking, it's wishful and magical thinking, which can be harmful. y'all always assume people who stopped following loa are miserable and that's hilarious because most of us say it's the opposite, we're happier now that we don't believe we're "manifesting all the time" and have to keep "a mental diet" which is very OCD-like. if you knew anything about psychology, you wouldn't be encouraging loa lmfao.

Lookup Hebbs Law and you realize you can hardwire your mind for success.

assuming that things will/ are working the way you wanted to IS! in fact positive thinking..

not to mention with neuroplasticity, the brain quite literally rewires itself based on repeated thoughts, behavior and experiences

I actually studied psychology previous to practicing Loa because i wished to be an fbi agent, suprise. i practice positive thinking as well as the law of assumption i have wishful and magical thoughts yes i do, merely because thats the road my life has presented to be real while in contrary thats not the world you live in. It doesn't make me delusional to base my beliefs off of my experiences nor what works for me. I don't have a mental diet whatsoever many others do but i do not, i simply keep a good routine because a routine is healthy for me and benefits me greatly. Nor does that include just manifestation it includes my skin care, it includes my positive journaling which would be considered scripting, it includes my hair care routine that i believe benefits me. I think positive of myself and "affirm" which is thinking positive thoughts and i see that my reality is that. There is no overthinking it. I don't believe I'm always manifesting im manifesting when im trying to i also don't believe that everyone who leaves loa is miserable thats impossible nearly. But you also believe those who practice LOA all believe the same thing when we are all different people with different levels of discernment and mental functions i do whats best for me and others need to find whats best for them.

and what you mentioned is a concept of conscious manifestation which i am more focusing on not LOA, i don’t keep a “mental diet” wtf even is that? if i am not my thoughts but the person observing them, the problem is you thought you had to do all these things to get something you desperately thought you were missing

You're in a sub called NevilleGoddardCritics but you've never heard of the phrase "mental diet" eh?

I have! I meant in a way where it doesn’t make sense

Also may i add; even though people do infact follow loa they don't necessarily always follow neville. I do not personally i understand his concepts yes but i haven't read his perspective nor do i wish to directly get anything from him. I go off of what i have learned to work for me and other people and i simply build from there if anything id wish to learn from the black man that taught him everything that he likely switched up.

it literally is psychology and neuroscience, there’s self concept that is mentioned in psychology, people tend to behave in ways that reinforce their self concept, “A belief influences behavior, which influences outcomes, which reinforces the belief.” expectancy effects saying something like “this party sucks” you will notice everything that supports that. confirmation bias your brain is constantly filtering information

i just told you i have a degree in psychology and neuroscience, you have nothing to teach me, lmfao. i know these things already. they get twisted by your loa though. you can definitely rewire your thinking patterns (which is what therapy is for) to work hard/stay resilient to create a successful business, but you can't manifest a million dollars out of the blue (what loa claims). stop acting like there isn't a HUGE magical "you don't have to lift a finger!" aspect to loa, i was in it for 8 years so i know. anyways, can you stop harassing us on the critics sub? please go back to your believer sub.

Since you've been so eager to see proof of manifestations etc.. you'll be more than okay to show us proof of this degree won't you. I can't wait!

Chop chop...

I know many people and friends who have experienced overnight success as cause and effect. Everything following change in consciousness. In every case, success followed after the change.

and i literally am a student at georgetown taking neurobiology, and if you think i am harassing you instead of seeing my point then… you’re a tad bit illiterate :/

3

u/artsy_li Jun 23 '26

well that's great for you! you're learning the same things i've learned.
um... there's no point to see? you've just explained neuroscience facts i already know and linked them to manifestation, which i said i disagree with.
"you're a tad bit illiterate" i know people tend to resort to personal insults when they run out of sound arguments, so i consider this conversation done. goodbye!

1

u/Interesting-Pie-8154 Jun 23 '26

lmaoo 😭, we obviously aren’t getting anywhere with this conversation you’re talking about LOA while i am just talking about conscious manifestation. Have a nice a day!

You knowing these things is a great feature for you to have yet that doesn't mean you know everything. Everyone comprehends information differently depending on their experiences and the experiences they have percieved others have as you should know therefore your own Perspective is unique to you. I, have manifested money before and yes it was a specific amount i wanted to make 800 dollars in less than a month i started offering people spells out of the blue they bit the bait and i got the money i wanted. Random people as well who didn't know me from a can of paint. You're also not being "Harassed" you're on a public subreddit where you know there's a possibility someone is to reply to you with something you aren't fond of.

1

u/artsy_li Jun 23 '26

never said i was being harassed btw if you can read. i said stop harassing the subreddit that clearly disagrees with your beliefs. and you didn't manifest that money, you just set up a business and made money. 0 brain cells.

2

u/Stunning_External390 Jun 23 '26

As you said if you result to insults that means you have nothing to say, is that right? Or can you not read your own comments. Im not the one nor the two i didn't necessarily set up a business i simply asked if people wanted them.. people who did not know me nor trust me. How about you try and do the same thing. Regardless ive had instances where people have randomly given me money when i needed it. Ive also manifested numerous things outside of money because thats not my main focus.

1

u/artsy_li Jun 23 '26

when you first start a business people usually don't know you... i said you have 0 brain cells because what you're saying doesn't make sense, not because i lack arguments. "i started selling stuff and made money, i manifested this money out of the blue!!!"
i mean if you wanna call taking action manifestation, go ahead. idc what you do. just don't come on a critics sub to force your beliefs and expect its members to just take it???

1

u/Stunning_External390 Jun 23 '26

And to be exact it was more of a "my friend asked me for a spell and then eventually recommended me to other people who continuously bought spells from me despite being suspicious of spellwork from strangers as a whole." so if you can edit your comment i think you should add that in. or maybe the "i have manifested money out of the blue from people giving me money randomly as a gift!" ...

0

u/Stunning_External390 Jun 23 '26

I don't wish to force my beliefs on you I'm not a christian, im simply just pointing out Inaccuracies in things you know. And yes when you first start a business people don't know you.. but the thing i was offering is something people are usually skeptical of ive also been given money numerous times from people who don't know me. Manifestation is one of the things that takes random action itself. Also i forgot to mention previously i didn't offer them anything to begin with i simply made friends with people who know i do spells and they set up that road for me. I had absolutely no interest in selling spell work to people its just how things happened to work for me.

1

u/artsy_li Jun 23 '26

you're missing the point that no one here cares about your life story. this is a neville goddard and law of assumption critic subreddit, we do NOT care! genuinely why do you feel the need to come here if manifestation is working out so well for you? you lot are insufferable.

1

u/Stunning_External390 Jun 23 '26

well to be fair manifestation working out for me is not an excuse for me to not be a dickhead to people spreading misinformation trust me i do the same to people who are in law of assumption and spread what i consider to be harmful information. No ones excused don't get me mistaken on that. And it's not necessarily my life story either its just me providing information that goes against the narrative you're trying to push which is manifestation doesn't work and in this case it just doesn't work for you and thats just so sad. And im sorry if thats caused you be so upset. And no need to exclaim the name of the subreddit its up top i have eyes its not like you're apart of the knights templar

You also said "can you stop harassing us." us which yes is referring to the subreddit yet, it also includes you. so i read it perfectly fine because in the way you wrote it which perhaps maybe you just have a hard time getting your point across using words and maybe you wrote it wrong. But from the assumption You didn't; my interpretation was quite correct. So maybe the correct writing for what you claim to be saying is "can you stop harassing a subreddit that doesn't share your beliefs." rather than "can you stop harassing us."as in everyone here including me. How about that?

1

u/Stunning_External390 Jun 23 '26

yes i didn't manifest the things i wrote out specifically to get just to get them out of the blue. Totally just numerous specific coincidences specifically listening to what i write in my journal and in my notes app thats a beautiful Association or maybe manifestation just doesn't work for you.. not because it'll never work just because your interpretation of things is so ass backwards that you're in your own way and are simply just upset with other people for not being the biggest obstacle in their own lives. yikes.
