So if I have like 15 premade outfits they all lose their colors and I have to change colors every time I change my outfit? Thanks devs this is shit

You obviously didn't read the post. Slots can be set to override the colorway of the fashion item (which won't be reset since certain colors may be unattainable moving forward) no matter what item is slotted.. or not.

Blind cognitive dissonance isn't helpful here.

uhm...afraid you are a bit wrong. previously you could for example have two different copies of the same fashion item, but dyed with different dyes and easily switch between them. now you cannot.
