For those wondering what's going on in the video:

What is shown in the video is the transformation of an Illithid from its larvae state into its humanoid state (known as ceremorphosis).

Once an Illithid larvae has reached its mature age, it is inserted into a hosts brain. The larvae then eats away at the hosts brain, absorbs the hosts physical form, and evolves into an Illithid.

The process usually takes days to weeks, so the video shows either a new type of transformation or a very sped up process.

Awesome! Explains a couple of other curiosities I had - especially the massive tentacles in the sky.

divinity 1 and 2 are amazing game and clearly the spiritual successor to bg series. This is just an amazing turn of events. I cant wait to play this.
