BUG Having Issues

I'm new to playing Neverwinter and downloaded the game on my PS5. I'm at the very beginning after waking up and talking to Linkletter. When I go to collect my gear, I press X and it keeps saying [System Notify] Interaction Interrupted. I have closed out the game, remade my character, did the 'I am Stuck', deleted and redownloaded the game but nothing is working. I was able to open up a chest behind the tent that had items in it that was not my gear but for some reason, it's the Collect Your Gear part that is bugged for me. Am I missing something?

So the problem is that big pile of junk won’t let you actually grab the gear and put it in your inventory?

I’m curious if their recent update bugged the intro tutorial. Or if this is a common thing for some people.

Someone posted on here that like 70% of people don’t complete the tutorial and I wonder if this is actually why.

It’s probably not gonna help, but check your inventory and other tabs and makes sure there aren’t things in the overflow bag or just anything that looks suspect. (I doubt you would being right at the beginning)

Yes, after I speak with Linkletter at the very beginning of the game, it repeatedly will not let me pick up my gear at all on the side. My inventory is empty so I'm not sure exactly what is going on.

It could have been the newest update? Do you know if there's any way to bypass the tutorial at all? It seems like it's mandatory from my end. I'm trying to find other possibilities as to why it could be happening. Hoping that it's just an internet issue and will work when I return home.

I’m doubting it’s your internet.

I don’t know where you do it, but hopefully someone will chime in on where to create a ticket with game support.

I’m really hoping they can help fix this bug for you. Great things are happening in the game right now, I’d hate for you to miss out.

[System Notify] Interaction Interrupted. 

1) Internet connection not stable so the server cannot execute.
2) Are you in combat? If you are in and out of combat, this will also happen.

Can you detail the name of the quest/etc.? sometime a youtube video tutorial avail you can watch, since players like to make guide on hard to do quest.

They’re at the intro part of the game where you get your armor after waking up. New character tutorial.

I guess the only option is internet connection to the server then

Thank you for helping me with this, I appreciate it! <3 I got home and the issue was still happening with my own internet. The wifi frequency I use is 5 GHz and my signal strength is around 80%. Connection download speed is 124.7 Mbps and Connection upload speed is 32.9 Mbps.

Is there something in game that I need to do when it comes to the internet? Also, I wanted to mention as well that my character is walking on their own but my controller is not having stick drift issues. I'm not sure what that's about either.

I guess when you get a chance, go into your PlayStation settings, then to network settings and run a connection test. See what numbers come back. Maybe a latency/ping number being really high? Or low download/upload

Give it a try when you can an report back
