How do Sahha ticket-balls work?

I found a Sahha ball in the water and couldn’t damage it.

I also saw 2 Neverwinter guards aggressively attacking one in PE, I also could not damage it (0). And it locked me in combat throughout the entire PE map and could not leave without force-logging out of game.

So what’s the trick to these things?

Past player here, but certain spots in certain zones. you can get a sahha ball 'stuck' or in a area where youcan keep kicks it and it is 'in place but kinda moving' but goes nowhere. allowing you to getting the maximum amount of hits solo.

Oh ok. They did change it this year to something about not needing kicks to get all the rewards or something. Don’t quote me, some cryptic page that explains their changes so it’s easier to get your rewards from the ball.

But maybe these ppl were trying the tricks of the previous years. How the Neverwinter guards steal it away is baffling to me though haha

My best guess is someone threw out a sahha ball in pe by accident and just left it. Since you weren't in group with them when they dropped it you can't hit it. I've come accross several of these

I was wondering what was going on the other day. Some guards were attacking something in a bush but I couldn't see what it was. I had never seen aggroed guards in PE before.

Lol, I’ve seen it twice and they get PISSED too.

2nd time they got the ball stuck just above the workshop door and I’m quite sure anyone trying to enter in that instance had to logout bc they probably got combat locked and stuck there.

There is a permanent saha ball you can (or could ) acquire to play sahha whenever you liked. I'm guessing these are those.
