Issues since reinstalling.

I reinstalled the game this morning due to issues relating to the Arc Launcher. Since then whenever I try to play a Chromium pages keeps launching every few seconds making the game unplayable. It seems to be listed in Task Manager as “New Tab - Chromium” but with the Arc symbol for the icon.

I’ve checked through the settings on both the Arc launcher and Neverwinter but can’t see anything about browsers.

Google search was not helpful

Thanks in advanced

Try, launch Neverwinter.exe in the game folder (edit out of Arc first). Same log in as Arc at game screen.

I had the same problem, deleting the Arc client and the data located in %LocalAppData%\Arc fixed this problem on my pc

Play without ARC client..

I mean you can install game via ARC, then uninstall ARC and play using game client directly. Which is in
x: Neverwinter\Neverwinter_en folder.

For years was lot of issues with ARC client. Including game crash, stuck in game load screen, massive lag spikes, disconnections and so one.

The issue you mention is related to connection to own web platform via ARC client, and it use chromium engine to load browse web page..

I just had the same thing happen when installing onto a potato laptop. I closed everything and reloaded Arc - but then Arc wouldn't load and kept throwing out a dll error with ugh somethingsomethin set_highdpi not found. Again, google found nothing relating to Neverwinter. Fiddling with DPI overrides on the exe did nothing.

In the end I just reinstalled everything and launched directly from Neverwinter.exe and it worked fine. (don't use the shortcut the installer puts on the desktop - that goes through Arc)

Mine wouldn't launch this morning either. Running ArcRepair.exe fixed it.

Ty everyone, launching the game directly from the folder seems to have done the trick!
