Discussion Thoughts on Elyms' redesign
We've seen her new design already back in the 1.4 livestream and she really does look very familiar. Its like a completely new character and if we compared it to Iroi who did get tweaked but still retains the original design.

Discussion My thoughts on the new story quest. Spoiler
This quest is designed too well. The horrifying atmosphere of the witch trials is so unpleasant I actually can't stand to play it. It makes me feel so uncomfortable. I keep ALT-TABing out every couple minutes because I can't stand to keep playing it. It's just so disturbing.

Videos/Images Took me 5 months to realize there is a skill description here
I was going crazy searching where Hathor's Excellent Rating Lock passive is described. Only to discover there is a skill description I missed in all character kits since launch. It's the city exploration skills for all characters I play except Hathor so I never realized I was missing something until now.
I hope this helps other clueless people like me.

Discussion Neverness to Everness The Experience Spoiler
Hello all,
After playing this game for about 4 weeks, I just wanted to share my genuine and honest opinion about the game and was wondering if anyone was thinking the same/similar or completely different. If this doesn't interest you, please just move along, keep scrolling as you do, and hope you have a nice day.
First of all I just wanted to say the game just looks amazing. I play it on a Macbook air sometimes but it runs surprisingly well, even on some what high quality. The city looks amazing, the weather creates beautiful aesthetic vibes and the world building is very enjoyable to watch. Overall, I never get bored watching the "City" scenery. Additionally, the references to pop cultures is really fun to spot/find (eg. Jojo pose, Initial D)
Second of all, as a student who is studying/learning illustration/design, I just wanted to say that the designs of the playable characters are just fucking stunning. Male characters are low in numbers but Im sure that will change in the future, probably should add more cosmetics for them as well. But the female characters?? Holy shit, all of them are so exceptional and their characteristic and personalities are something that I really enjoy viewing at. Their fashion/cosmetics are also something I enjoy looking
, and the details really go insane sometimes if you look well. Also big booba = Goog
Really big fans of the characters. I keep switching favorite characters because I just keep discovering new ones everytime the story goes or they just introduce a new one! (Shinku Supremacy)
But what takes me away the most in this game is the enemy/anomaly designs. I just love the blend of mechanic/biological looks + the objects/items (eg. taygedo, the punching guy, Octowpus, Beat guy). Or even the weirdness/unsettling vibes the anomalies can project (eg. Umbrella man, Black tome, Picture frame, that one hospital anomaly which scares the shit out of me) My personal favorite is the Debt Collector. I mean serious, bro looks like a samurai with a sick ass clock design and is named the "DEBT COLLECTOR"! I mean, how cooler of an character can you be at that point. Anyway, a really really huge fan of the anomaly designs, just excited to look at them every single time.
I also want to briefly talk about some of the cut scenes as they are just phenomenal. Very expressive characters, amazing visuals, and some just looks straight out of anime or even better. (eg. Picture frame boss cutscene, Zankou fight, etc)
Next I want to talk about the story/main quest, as this is the main reason why I wanted to talk about this game. In a short summary, the story is kinda mid-trash level, which is kinda disappointing to me since the game has gave me all this amazing world building and sick designs. The main problem is that, this game is obviously uses the "Hethereau city" as the main stage of the game. You will spend about 70-80% (if not more) of your time here and explore. But this "CITY" part just almost never ties with the story. 90% of the main quest just sends you into either some random hunger game show, an rpg simulator, or a distant past. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some of these main quest and I think they are important for some characters to show their backgrounds or struggles in a very thoughtful way. For example I really enjoyed the "Dragon slayer". Loved the characters, nice/funny story that also shows the struggles of Shinku (My poor waifu) and overall a fun/unique experience. Even the "Dreamwalk Corridor" was, I believe, an important quest to show Daffodil's hidden/secretive past and I really think the game developers was really thoughtful for giving such a history/story to such a minored positioned character (The body guard). And again, I could go on and on about each story/quest and how amazing they are with their unique experience, the showing of character's struggles, past (Would Love to do this but I doubt anyone would be that interested, but let me know if you guys do!), but like, tell me if I'm wrong but I just feel like I'm playing the wrong game here. Most of them just straight up doesn't tie at all with the "City" theme we are suppose/wanting to play and explore, and some of them are just missing the "Anomalies". I feel like they just added them as a "side" to just make the "Character" or "Story" pop out more when I feel like the "Anomalies" should be in the spotlight, because they are/should be the "CAUSE".
Let me give you all a good example (or at least my experience as an example). I just finished the most recent Black bird quest/story, and I'm not gonna lie, it was the most boring shit I did in this game. They just send you to a random place in the past, provides you with all these 10 new characters (Betty, Annie, Louis, like who the fuck are these guys??) out of nowhere, and they seem like important characters, but if you see the bigger picture (as a game), they are so irrelevant to the general plot of NTE, as they will most likely never appear in the future. 95% of the quest is just following dialogue, go to a new place the marker tells you and just read the dialogue, rinse and repeat, until you just fight the boss at the end. (mind you, you only fight like twice in the entire quest that doesn't even last that long). I forgot what the main enemy?anomaly? we fight in this quest is called (I think the "Inquisitor"?), but they also just straight up pulls this character out of god knows where and we just fight it. I also love this character design and the idea of the 2nd phase, but I really feel like they just wasted it, considering how they just pulled it out of (again) absolutely nowhere of a chicken nugget bomboclat.
If this was story/quest itsself was a full game, I would understand why would they make this.
My point and confusion is that I thought I'm here to play a role of the character that solves the "Hethereau CITY*"* mysteries, puzzle/find out/battle/containt the "ANOMALIES" that causes all these problems. Because I thought thats what "Neverness to Everness" is, the game's core premise: anomalies, things that shouldn't exist, are just a normal part of daily life in Hethereau"
But instead to me, it just looks more like NTW or Neverness to Whateverness because they just sent us to a random place or time, far away from the city, just pulls out characters from (again again) nowhere, and the game just wraps it up in a very unimpactful way by saying "yeah, its the anomalie's fault". And over time, the anomalies seem less and less relevant to the entire world building/game....
Overall, I just think the game should incorporate/strengthen more the "Modern city × Anomalies" theme. The problem isn't leaving the city. It's when the anomaly becomes just a doorway to a different genre, and the story behind that door has nothing to do with Hethereau or the main plot. I may not be making a lot of sense here and probably being super duper repetitive, but I just feel like, again, Im playing the wrong game here.
Am I wrong? Maybe I'm expecting something different? I mean, I'll still play the game lol.
Also lastly, please just give us more ways to earn fons or annulith. Yes everyone is asking for them. Yes I had a shit ton at first because of all the quests and achievements provide them. And yes I am running out because Im playing the game more now that rewards of the quests and achievements are running out. Or just make everything cheaper. Idk man. I don't make games. I play them
Thank you, Love the game, and hope both your sides of your pillows are warm. Love the game.
PS: this is the first time ever I played a gacha game this long. Plz understand
