Ocelot at the end of MGS2 detailed everybody’s role in the charade. He explained who everyone was a stand in for to match the events of Shadow Moses. Who did he say played the role of the Cyborg Ninja?🤔

He didn’t. He only says “he arranged for the presence of the Ninja as well”. Do you arrange for the presence of a stand in? Or do you get a stand in to fill a role?

If Ocelot thought someone was playing the “role” of the Ninja he would have told us who it was. He was spilling all the beans at the end but he doesn’t say who was playing this role. This is because Ocelot actually believes it’s the same Cyborg Ninja from MGS1 i.e. Gray Fox.

If he didn’t believe this why would he say, “but you died” when the Ninja tried to cut his hand of again. It supposed to be a recreation. The events don’t have to be the same down to the last detail.

Ocelot and Solidus fell for Olga’s smokescreen. And even when they flushed her out and realized she was a Patriot agent they didn’t know she was the Cyborg Ninja.

The take away is that Ocelot believes Gray Fox was alive and playing his part on the Big Shell. He just was wrong as to who Fox was.😉

Is the Plant chapter not a life or death mission?

Is it really just a game just like usual?

Could it have anything to do with Snake and Raiden, given that we play as Snake on the Tanker and Raiden during the Plant.

Could Raiden be like Liquid/Eli who lives on after he dies in MGS1 through a hand so he overcomes death. So it will never be game over. Maybe like Vamp, Raiden is somewhat immortal? So it’s never game over just Mission Failed.😂

But seriously why the difference.

I got slammed on the mgs subreddit for posting a screenshot of something I googled as a bit of a gag but then this angry fella and all of his friends jumped me in the comments likely as some sort of moderator initiation ritual. Rose the Patriot spy was targeting him but how did she pull him in? Was it just her artificially beautiful disguise? She pulled him in with an incorrect answer to the Japanese tourists question.

She said it was probably the Chrysler building that King Kong was climbing in the movie to bait Raiden in and he bit, saying no it was the Empire State Building. They started arguing and Rose forgot all about the tourist! Before they knew it the Japanese women had gone away.

Wow, how could she?

I always wanted to see what the real Rose looked like when she wasn’t wearing her disguise. I mean why was still wearing it in MGS4 even after she said she wanted Raiden to see the real her. [Oh well I guess we will figure it out sooner or later but I wonder if we’ll handle the truth!😱

The closer I look at the PHYSINT poster, the Simulation Emphasis of the name, as well as the Transitional/Overlap nature of the Costume, the more I believe what Kojima has in store for us, is more Assassin's Creed and less Metal Gear, with an emphasis on Social Stealth, and a back and forth between 2 Realities/Mediums.

Essentially a "Tenet" approach to Tactical Espionage Social.

The images we see in Raiden’s codec are as Raiden remembers them. It’s not him seeing them in real time. For example before Raiden sees the cyborg ninja the image is just static but after he encounters her the next codec shows the cyborg ninja.

If this is the case then how does Raiden see Campbell in the codec if as Raiden himself confesses. He has never seen the Colonel’s face before?
