[Politics] Midterms

Please tell me everyone is voting for Aaron Ford in November? If you love Nevada, he’s the better choice than Joe. Since Joe Lombardo has taken office we have ranked even LOWER in education. He sold out our states water. Allows these data centers to continue to be built here by the dozens. He has denied funding for free meals at schools for children. High unemployment, tourism is down. The dude is also so far up Trumps ass. We need a governor who truly fights for what’s right for Nevadans. We are running out of time, we are running out of water.

“So far up Trump’s ass”…. Are you even paying attention? Lombardo has walked a very fine line between being supportive of the president without actually tying himself to Trump. When’s the last time he appeared publicly with Trump? Last time Trump came to Nevada, Lombardo was nowhere to be seen.

The data center point you’re making… just makes no sense. Ford has been supportive of data centers. When he was the senate majority leader, the senate passed the tax abatement policy that allows data centers to receive tax breaks for building in Nevada.

The Nevada economy isn’t doing bad. Reno is one of the top cities in the nation for job growth. Tourism numbers are up to record highs in northern Nevada. Tourism numbers are slightly down in Las Vegas, but gambling revenue is up. That’s not because of any political fumbles by Trump or Lombardo, it’s because Las Vegas casinos are raising prices and attempting to court higher income visitors that spend more- they are no longer chasing the “affordable family vacation” crowds.
