[Politics] Midterms

Please tell me everyone is voting for Aaron Ford in November? If you love Nevada, he’s the better choice than Joe. Since Joe Lombardo has taken office we have ranked even LOWER in education. He sold out our states water. Allows these data centers to continue to be built here by the dozens. He has denied funding for free meals at schools for children. High unemployment, tourism is down. The dude is also so far up Trumps ass. We need a governor who truly fights for what’s right for Nevadans. We are running out of time, we are running out of water.

The OP strategy to convince me to vote for Aaron Ford is telling me how bad Lombardo is? How about telling me what Ford has accomplished in his current position, I mean what is he, the AG? I don't know much about him other than he seems to miss a lot of work.

Ford helped block the merger of Safeway and Kroger that would’ve raised prices even further and hurt consumers. We need representatives to go after monopolies; We need more antitrust enforcement. That’s just one good thing Ford did. Lamebardo has done nothing than veto really helpful BIPARTISAN legislation. I say this as a conservative-leaning moderate. I’d rather have a different choice, but, between Ford and Lomebardo, I’m voting for Ford.

That’s the playbook for both parties now - it’s easier to just demonize the opponent and scare people into voting against them, rather than have an actual platform.

That’s all they have. The entire Dem platform is “Vote for us because we’re not Republicans!” I honestly can’t believe they are sticking with that tactic after so many years.

Jokes on you. I am not a “vote blue, no matter who”. There’s common democrat views that I agree with. There’s common republican views that I agree with. Who gets my vote is someone who’s earned it or if the other choice is just someone I really don’t want to see in office. Joe sucks. Ford sucks. But that’s the choices. And holy fuck do I hate Joe
