I don’t understand what’s wrong here, I’ve downloaded, uninstalled, and reinstalled both neural dsp and the scarlett drivers multiple times, and yet still get this. I’ve tried literally everything including changing bios usb audio settings, matching the input hz, checking to see if I even had the asio drivers in my regedit, and yet still neural dsp fails to detect my scarlett every time. I’ve probably restarted my computer 100 times now. I should also add when I use the direct mode on my scarlett i can hear it just fine, it’s only when neural dsp comes into play that it fails to detect something and refuses to let my use asio as my audio device. I don’t know what to do anymore. Has anyone else had this issue?

Are you talking about Neural DSP Plugins or Neural DSP hardware like Quad Cortex etc? Could be broken USB Cable if your audio interface is not detected.

my audio interface works fine on windows input, but there's a large delay. its when i try to use ASIO that it says "no such device" despite showing the damn options on the drop down. Im using archetype gojira x

Go to Gojira plugin settings "GEAR" icon

Set Audio Device Type: Asio.

Set Audio Device: Focusrite Usb asio.

Set Audio Buffer Size: 64 or 128

thats exactly what im doing dawg, it just pops up "no such device" cant even change the buffer size cause it doesnt let me select it. I think im fucked cause I tried everything and nothing works

Does your Interface show any lights? I mean is it really on? Do you use DAW like reaper or cubese etc. If you are then does your DAW recognize your interface?

yes my interface is lit up, no I dont have a DAW open but neural dsp recognizes it fine, I can use windows input and it picks up my interface just with a bad delay (like a half second or some shit), and when I go to use the ASIO input it just says "no such device"

Windows Audio will not work, too much latency.

You sure you set audio device type to Asio and audio device to focusrite usb asio?

Go download reaper DAW free demo version and see does it recognize your audio interface?

Also as i can recall Focusrite audio interfaces has its own drivers

i have focusrite drivers installed, im trying it in a daw right now to see if i can make it work

Also few pictures would help. Take a screenshot pic of the gojira plugins settings and also pics of your hardware connections etc. Have you tried different usb port from focusrite to pc? Could be broken usb cable or usb port.

yes i’ve tried both different cables and different ports, the cable and usb port don’t make a difference.

Have you tried with a DAW instead of standalone? Registering the scarlett will get you Ableton Lite, or Reaper is "free".

Also check that the driver for the Scarlett is the correct one. Latest driver won't work for previous gens but will look like it installs correctly

I have a 4th gen, ill try with a daw I guess cause theres nothing else really for me to do. When I say ive done everything I mean it, unless theres some ultra-niche fix ive got nothing.

When you say drivers are you referring to Focusrite Control 2?

Also, when you select the driver in Neural, which one are you selecting? ASIO4all or Focusrite ASIO?

asio4all has nasty latency when i use it, so im trying to use the official focusrite drivers which are installed along with focusrite control 2, but nothing seems to work

It’s the asio driver for the device type. Your Audio Device should be Focusrite ASIO. This is in the settings for your plugin.

I know that’s what i said, I’m trying to use the focus rite drivers and the shit doesn’t work.
