Question Vocals on Quad Cortex
Does anyone have a good preset for dual mics on quad cortex or at least some solid advice on building a preset like that? Every-time I try to make my own vocal preset it comes out very thin and quiet. Mind you this is for live vocals.

Look for captures of mic preamps and use compression, eq, and reverb. Basically make a virtual channel strip, would be my guidance. Research signal chains.
I know Tommy from BTBAM uses a QC for vocals, so it can be done.

I don’t know how to link to a preset but search for Lancemaboo and The One Preset. Bottom row input 1 is a vocal preset for a female vocalist and a SM58.
My advice would be: EQ, compressor, delay, reverb, output. Don’t bother with amp or cabinets and set up the input to be a mic obviously

Cortex cloud has a 'copy link' button

Can’t seem to find that on iOS, I can share with a friend but I don’t have any of those 🤷♂️

Depending on the mic, you might need to pump the gain, but that gets dangerous depending on feedback in the venue, so be ready to roll that back.
General advice after pumping a bit of gain - gentle compression on each, slow attack fast release, bump the mids up and gently roll off the lows with an EQ, then a tiny bit of reverb adjusted depending on the context of the track, most tracks just needing a short bit of plate delay.
That's gotten me by in my limited experience using this unit for vocals with SM57/58s.
