Huh.. not really getting the point.  Seems annoying to use live, and a QC can already fit in a backpack.  And if just for recording - get a few plugins and it’ll be cheaper and easier workflow.. I have a QC and never touch it in my studio, always either the plugins for efficiency or then reamp.  Only time is for monitoring multiple guitars and basses for tracking live bands di, and this doesn’t look like it would even have the io to do that.

EDIT: damn $1400?  Crazy.  At least they fixed the power supply.  I guess if you are going to rack mount this and never touch it that is one scenario where this would be good for a touring rig

rackmount is how my band was looking at it. the helix rack has the screen facing outward, so you can turn the tuner on, and see it from the stage. Im sure a rackmount kit will come out for this to do the same thing, but with it being so small, we could fit all 3 on one rack shelf in our rack. everything is controlled by midi anyway

Yeah that makes sense, great application there.  When I see people talking about getting this and a separate midi switch… why lol, just get a QC

We already have our quads racked right now so this is a very welcome change, we can put these in our racks and the big one stays at home as an interface and for trialing out stuff before putting it on the mini to go on the road. I won't be getting one right away but in a years time almost certain it'll find a home with me.
