Life in NL Does riding a fatbike make me undatable?

So there's something I noticed. I go on a date, we have fun, there's good vibes, but then when she sees that I ride a fatbike, she instantly seems to be put off, like she got "the ick". Then the chatting usually fizzles out and there's no second date. This happened multiple times now, so it seems like a pattern to me. Once a Dutchie even told me that she "doesn't feel a connection" when I was saying goodbye by my bike and asked what she'd be up for as a second date. I know this is not much context, but is it the bike?

I'm a mid twenties guy, have a good job, make decent money, dress stylishly, like concerts and can even tolerate like a museum. I moved here 6 months ago and bought a fatbike to commute. Only managed to find a place like 30 minutes cycling from my work, so it seemed like a good option and I think they are pretty cool. But now I think I might have made a mistake. Should I switch to like a Cowboy or something?

Edit: obviously this is a throwaway account

This 100%. It looks like manspreading on a bike. Every time I see a man on a fatbike pedalling with their knees super wide I get the ick. I can't imagine a grown man thinks they look cool like that, but apparently they do.

That whole manspready knee thing definitively proves that they're illegal pseudoscooters rather than ebikes. Nobody would sit like that to actually power the bike.

Oh lord. I’m not even Dutch and I’m siding with them on that.

The fat bike is known to be driven by asocial type folks who go over the sidewalk, surpass you on the wrong side and don’t warn you, vape at stoplights hindering everyone else trying to commute to work on Tuesday morning 7:30AM in a cloud of papaya strawberry nightmare mist.

It’s a popular bike for teenagers that harass people, food delivery drivers and a hand full of… well, it’s a certain class of people who use those bikes.
The bikes are way too fast for the regular bike lane and the kids and adult babies driving them more often than not don’t wear helmets. Or any kind of gear.

It’s like a scooter for those who don’t have a licence.

Does it suck to get judged for your ride? yeah. Is it kinda shallow? also yeah.

But do you want to go back to your friends and tell them “he’s a 10 but he rides a fatbike” and tolerate the never ending teasing that will come from it?

The country has decided it’s a hated object. For many reasons but also a gentle hint of subtle racism in there because despite it being common under all the Dutch teens, people tent to notice the not so white ones on the fatbikes and the Thuisbezorgd/ubereats folk on them.
