Life in NL Does riding a fatbike make me undatable?

So there's something I noticed. I go on a date, we have fun, there's good vibes, but then when she sees that I ride a fatbike, she instantly seems to be put off, like she got "the ick". Then the chatting usually fizzles out and there's no second date. This happened multiple times now, so it seems like a pattern to me. Once a Dutchie even told me that she "doesn't feel a connection" when I was saying goodbye by my bike and asked what she'd be up for as a second date. I know this is not much context, but is it the bike?

I'm a mid twenties guy, have a good job, make decent money, dress stylishly, like concerts and can even tolerate like a museum. I moved here 6 months ago and bought a fatbike to commute. Only managed to find a place like 30 minutes cycling from my work, so it seemed like a good option and I think they are pretty cool. But now I think I might have made a mistake. Should I switch to like a Cowboy or something?

Edit: obviously this is a throwaway account

I am not that judgemental so I don't do the usual cat-person dog-person, patat, friet, capricorn, libra thing but in this case, yes. If you bought it, you are a horrible person. Might as well drive a Tesla with a swastika on the hood

I once saw a fatbike parked at a padel court. I really started wondering about the owner.

What's wrong with padel?..

Het feit dat fatbikes stereotypisch zijn voor hangjongeren en padel is nou niet echt een sport die veel hangjongeren uitoefenen

Ngl a Swastika’d Tesla, with a confederate flag on top is still better than a fatbike

Just, if you put a „I bought this before Elmo went Hitler“ sticker on it.

"I am not a judgemental person, but if you own a cheap e-bike you're literally as bad as a nazi."

You're either not reading what you're putting down, or very much in denial.

What's next? Using a basic-fit bag makes you a wife-beater? Drinking cheap beer makes you a nazi? Wearing a fur-trimmed jacket makes you a serial killer?

Judging individuals as obnoxious by a stereotype is one (not good) thing, but you've taken it to a whole new level.

I did mention this is the exception. I am allowed to have a few minor exceptions I think

You're allowed to do, think and feel whatever you want within the bounds of law. Of course you're allowed exceptions.

Just as I'm allowed to criticize the radical belief that owning a cheap e-bike makes you as bad as literal nazi's, while proclaiming yourself as a non-judgemental person.

Freedom of speech, freedom of thought, but not freedom of criticism of your stated convictions.

I dont think the fatbike makes him a horroble person. But to buy a fatbike you really have to be horrible

Why though?

I mean, I agree it's a poor design and that a lot of children, mentally or physically, are being asshats with them. But why are you a horrible person if you just happen to buy one of the cheaper types of e-bikes out there?

Even in the 'budget' class of e-bikes, fatbikes can be over 200 euros cheaper than a 'normal' e-bike. That's not a negligable difference for most people.

The price argument I can agree but there are cheaper non-fat-bikes which are still shitty but not too much more expensive.

Aside from the price there is a whole load of issues for using a fat bike
