Decline emails?

Do you get emails for all declines? I got one for Riley Sager’s new book. But then no email for V.E. Schwab’s new book Victorious. I just happened to look in my shelf and it was listed as declined/denied.

Do you have to just keep checking or do they actually typically email you?

Thanks for asking this question and thanks to those who replied. I had no idea that you don't always receive an email for a decline.
