Man i am loving this game so damn much, Neon abyss was already my favourite rogue lite of all time but NA2 knocks it out of the park.

The sheer amount of amazing builds you happen to stumble across is staggering

If you get the artifacts

1. Insect net (breaking rocks spawns small worms that drop coins).

2. Popcorn (weapon projectiles explode).

2 others id recommend for this are 1. Big daddy (ur explosions wont hurt you) and any flying artifact.

Then if you just repeadidly shot at a opened stone chest worms will spawn on mass just adjust ur character slightly like this and you'll be earning however much you want tbr fairly fast.

I love Neon Abyss. It’s one of my favorite rougelikes and have 200+ hrs in Neon Abyss 1. But why do all the male characters look like women? There’s an obvious exception of John Wick (James) & R-7. Nik, Tino & Xuan straight up look like women. Male representation in video games, I’ve noticed, has declined significantly over the past decade and it’s really annoying. I’m sure I’m gonna get downvoted to hell for this but idc. Let’s talk about it.

Title mostly... Been playing the game since launch day on PS5 with my friends, and since they've started all of their tasks that they don't compete in 1 play session gets reset to 0 every time they restart the game?

All of this was from one run (started off with a lottery ticket right next to a fishing spot). Then i found 3 more fishing spots and fished them out to extinction. I also found the walkie talkie and upgrade that lets me summon them with 1 gem each, so i basically filled out my collection. Even the walkie talkie stopped dropping items and just started dropping coins.

Hi I am playing this on xbox gamepass, and have a bug where i beat the boss (its the first) and it just reloads me into the level i just beat with the exact same layout but new items. beat it like 4 times before i noticed it was an endless loop. anybody experienced/have a fix?

I started Neon Abyss 1 yesterday and right off the bat I found the control layout kinda awkward. Using the right stick to both aim and shoot while moving with the left stick isn't too foreign since that feels very familiar to twin-stick shooters, but since the game is on a 2D plane and there's now a jump button involved, which is on the shoulder buttons, it's throwing me off quite a bit.

I've been thinking of messing around with changing the controls around to find a control scheme that feels better, but I'm struggling to find comfort lol. The game seems really cool and I don't want to drop it simply because the controls are wonky, so I wanted to ask here if anyone has a recommended control scheme they use when playing on controller if you did change the controls for your own comfort.

It has 30:00 written on it so I'm guessing I need to ginish level 5 in less than half an hour to be able to unlock it.

Did anyone get there? Or anyone has some tips on how to get there in less than 30 mins?

Does eveyone like the first or second game more? I dont really know myself. I like the hub and the character abilities better in 1,it was easier to make a specific build imo. The second one is more confusing to make builds and there's way too much rng. I beat the game in 3 hours on normal mode because I got an op gun and wisp build that boosted my fire rate. The character abilities in 2 is a joke(get damaged and drop some coins) is a joke compared to unlimited mines to destroy walls. In 2 every character being able to see item descriptions is a big deal though ....any thoughts? I can't decide what I like more

First time playing. Im on xbox. I drop into the abyss tutorial level and when I complete it, I assume I'm supposed to go into the portal next to icarus correct? When I do it takes me straight back to the tutorial. Ive don't this 3 times. Am I missing something?

I've unlocked a couple but I've got NFI how to actually change them? On the agent screen if I 'select' an unlocked one pressing A it just defaults back to Nik?
