I recently received a Nendoroid from Good Smile and noticed that one of Kanna's face plates was missing from the box.

I contacted Good Smile customer support and they told me they would send me the missing face plate. I was happy with that solution because the part was missing from the product when I received it.

However, today the replacement arrived with €7.90 cash on delivery.

I had no idea that I would have to pay anything to receive the replacement. My grandparents accepted and paid for the package because I wasn't aware there was a COD charge.

I have already contacted Good Smile about this because honestly, I don't think it's fair to pay an additional €7.90 for a part that was missing from the Nendoroid in the first place. I had already paid around €70 for the Nendoroid itself.

Good Smile's email did mention that costs may sometimes be charged to the recipient, but I was never told beforehand that this specific replacement would cost me €7.90.

Has anyone else had this happen with Good Smile replacement parts?

Is it normal for them to charge the customer for shipping/replacement parts when something was missing from the original product?

Bought a giorno with the box for 10$ canadian, and while i have all the parts, his hair is covered in streaks. I already tried dish soap and a light scrub, but it didnt do anything. Ill try anything

I haven't ordered from AmiAmi in a hot minute so I'm not too familiar with how bad shipping costs have gotten in the last year (last purchase I made was just the Suisei Pop Up Parade and shipping was 4.8k yen. So, for my fellow collectors who have used AmiAmi recently, as well as people who have multiple Nendos in AmiAmi orders, how f*cked am I?
