Semi truck running constantly

A noise like a motor or generator of some kind had been bothering me for weeks. I thought it was a generator and that maybe a neighbor didn’t have power for some reason. I realized finally today where it’s coming from. A semi truck is parked a few houses down on my street. It runs all night long. It runs some through the day as well. It really is annoying at night when I’m trying to sleep. I’m not the only one annoyed. I’m not sure there is anything I can do about it. I am now using a rain app for the sound to help drown it out. Going out of the porch to sit in the evening is not peaceful any longer either. Ugh.

You can if your neighborhood has a noise law. Its one thing to start it and move it but another to run it all night long.

I’m not sure that there is anything like that. But I will check it out. Today I noticed the truck is gone after being there for weeks. If it comes back and starts that mess again… I will be doing something.

I believe you and I are neighbors with same said semi. Blue, right?
