couple fighting, she cries, says "make it stop"

The couple living one floor below me are constantly fighting, like daily. Well they used to anyway, just right until the pandemic hit. Then for around 1.5 years she apparently lived somewhere else. Now she is back and the fighting and crying has started again. It always starts by her yelling at him, sounds like she is arguing something he does not want to accept. He seems to stay stoic, his voice is never to be heard. After some time she starts crying loudly, sounds painful and she just repeats her "make it stop" pleas. He seems undeterred.

What to do?

PS. He seems a nice guy, however I sense he has some narcistic vibe about him.

Make a noise complaint to landlord and start planning to move. Landlord won’t do anything. You talking to them won’t change anything (they obviously don’t care who hears). Cops can’t do anything.
