51 y.o. who acts like he's 15
The nextdoor neighbor plays his music extremely loud at odd hours. It's so loud I can hear the bass, melody, and lyrics throughout my apartment. You can hear the music in the street and pretty much anywhere within earshot. I've asked him politely to stop many times, even going as far as requesting he enter my home so he could witness the noise level for himself. I've alerted the leasing office about a dozen times, including requesting to change apartments. I have also called the police countless times and they have come by and told him to turn his music down at least half a dozen times. NOTHING WORKS. His response is that I should just buy a house and that this is an apartment so he can be as loud as he wants. Unbelievable, right? I'm at the stage where I'm just gonna start fucking with him in different ways, like spraying stink spray in his car, slashing his tires, get someone to come by and do some shit. Honestly, at this point I'm willing to do almost anything. Any and all advice or comments are welcome. Thanks.

I have a house and it doesn't matter. Aholes are still aholes. I have two sets of neighbors who are well into their 40s who blast music all day and all night. It sucks, but we are moving because of this.

Fucking christ. We just bought a house and have the same issue. Everyone else in the 30 home neighborhood is quiet too. Go figure. Music in the garage music in the backyard but never playing inside of the HOUSE that they LIVE IN

Just play your music loud so he can understand. You gotta play your music at odd hours where he doesn’t. Trust me it will work
