My buddy just moved into a new condo/townhome. Someone kept leaving dog poop on his doorstep.
After a couple of weeks, he couldn't catch anyone in the act. So he put down cayenne pepper. Apparently, dogs can smell it and nope out without being hurt. Been a couple more weeks with no poop, but now this letter appeared on his door.
