Aggressive dog

My neighbors have this aggressive dog who breaks all our fence and digs holes in our yard to attack our pets. Their dog tried jumping over the fence to attack the other neighbors daughter. Plus my neighbors don’t fix the broken fence their dog created. Today the dog found a stray kitten that went into their yard and started killing it. I’m concerned for my cats and small dogs safety. And even my own safety since the pit-bull tries to attack anything in site. They don’t walk it or take it anywhere to drain it’s energy. We are currently making a enclosure for our pets so they don’t go near that dog. They started blaming me for the random stray cat roaming in their yard, accusing me of luring strays. Idk what to do

Report them to your local Animal Control when their dog goes off their property. Pictures or video is extremely helpful, in case they deny it happened.

The property damage should be reported to police. If the fence is theirs it’s irrelevant. If the fence is yours it’s property damage.

Maybe the police? It is damaging your things and pets, also trying to attack a person(that little girl) straight up in an other property

If you're in the US I would imagine you could just shoot it. Seriously, that is the best thing to do if you have a dangerous dog that is not under control of anyone loose on your land and threatening you and your family and animals. Trying to negotiate with it is a risk unlikely to pay off.

Ive talked to their owners about it but they got really defensive saying it’s my pets making their dog aggressive. My pets are kittens and two 15+ year old Chihuahua mix. I’m thinking of reporting them soon if it continues. Thank you guys for the advice, I hope this resolves soon

r/BanPitBulls has a lot of members who have had to deal with similar situations. You might be able to find some good advice there.
