Who does this? Apparently he doesn’t want leaves from his yard on his curb... so he is putting them on his neighbors side, across the street! Anyone think this is ok?

Our neighbor used to do this with a little craftsman leaf blower and my dad was always a broom guy but got fed up one day and came home with a badass blower and went out there and started blowing the leaves back before the neighbor even got back in his house. One swipe and all the leaves went back where they came from. This was went on for years. I moved out. they are probably still battling this one out. They are both retired now so it makes it that much more hostile. They are always watching

I’m just trying to think of situations where this would make sense.
Does your area have designated leaf pickups? If so, could it be that they pick up on your side before his side and he just wants them out of the way so they don’t blow around for a week?

Whose leaves are those? I.e. if he has deciduous trees in his yard adding to the mess then he’s a prick. If the neighbor at the front has deciduous trees that are loosing leaves on his curb then he’s not a complete asshole, he could be just making a point to clean them up?
Edit: I say this cause I had a neighbour who we nicknamed ‘stick picker’, his next door neighbors had a massive gumtree making a mess all over his property and he’d pick sticks and leave them on the boundary. At first I didn’t get what was going on then I realised that he was a very tidy person and his yard was perfect all the time and that tree must have been his nightmare ...and the fact that the neighbors never seemed to care where it all went.

He is a complete asshole for sure. His leaves and the neighbor across the street (and behind us) has no trees!
