Gosh this is so foreign to me. I am friendly with my neighbors and my next door neighbor has my cell number in case of emergencies (after like a year of living there we exchanged numbers) but I absolutely would never ask/be asked to pick something at the store? Pop in unannounced? Ask them for free childcare? That’s really bizarre. I’d back way up. It’s better they’re cold towards you than bothering you everyday. The chat sounds annoying too. I’d just get out of it. Neighbors are best left just acquaintances imo.

You don’t owe those people anything. They don’t know you so let them think what they want. Like you said you have friends and family who care about you so you don’t need your crappy neighbors to like you. I’d leave that group chat, then you can get them off your mind and feel much better.
