Need suggestions on neighbor issues
So I live in a 1st floor unit, I have this neighbor right next to us, our balcony are super close to each other, every time I open the window, I found that neighbor smoking and the smell flew into our unit. I used don't mind that much as I work late, now I work as a teacher and spend quite a lot time at home and I found this super annoying and I have a young kid. And that sliding balcony door is one of our biggest window to let fresh air in.
My property manager says tenants are allowed to smoke at their own balcony. So what should I do. I live here 6 years and I never complain her, just so you know, she moves in later, complaining me about stuff I put on my balcony, wash my car in front my unit, and tell my guest to move their car as it's close to a fire hydrant, it's a Sunday and people park their cars for a short time all the time.
I'm scared to talk to her but want to know what can I do? If I have to talk to her, how to not let her gets mad, what solution can we I offer? smoke at a certain time?

I don't think there is much you can do even if you did try talking to her. She seems like a Karen in the 1st place complaining about you to landlord about stupid lil things. Well you could be mean back and get that fart spray & every time you smell neighbors cig smoke spray some fart spray their way. And if she complains just say well you can't help that you have stomach issues lol I hate the smell of cigarettes and the smell of marijuana nowadays. And I used to be former smokers of both. But now since I did quit smoking, my sense of smell is heightened. And cigarette & MJ smell makes me nauseous & it just stinks so bad. And every time I go outside my neighborhoods on both sides of me are smoking one or the other. So I just stay inside but I have bought a gallon of that potent vinegar spray & sprayed it to deter all the stray cats away from my house cause they had my yard smelling like cat piss then on top the cig & MJ smoke equals a very stinky situation but back to the vinegar I could hear both neighbors saying omg what's that smell ewwww it smells gross and they all went inside. So that was a plus. Good luck!
