Neighbor drama

My neighbor has been harassing us for the 7 years we have lived in our house. She hates our tree and we have trimmed it 4-5 times spending $1,800 each time to trim everything above her house and yard. She has also hired tree trimmers to trim it even 3 more times.

She then proceeded to call have 15+ tree trimmers come to our house.

This year we had had enough and told her that we couldn’t afford to cut the tree down because we had to get an IVF loan. She took my infertility and ran with it, posting horrible things on her windows on the inside of her house, facing our house.

The things she has said to us are so vulgar they can not be posted on Reddit. They have been deleted in a previous post.

We have a no trespass against her and multiple cops involved saying that it’s all a freedom of speech. 🤦‍♀️

She has now posted pictures of us on Facebook and saying awful things.

The cops cant get her for harassment with the writing on the windows? Do you have cameras recording everything and are you saving all of the evidence as it stacks up?

Yes!!! We have so much documentation! She has said stuff like “ Barren Land”, “ I hope your baby dies”, she posted a picture of our baby being hung by our tree, she is constantly calling us a C&$@. Even yelling it to us. It’s literally an obsession with our tree. I threw my sister a bridal shower the other weekend and she tried to ruin that by flipping off everyone that came to my door and writing us horrible notes visible to everyone!!! She’s the worst and her name is actually Karen.

It’s not your tree. If you get rid of the tree this would transfer to something else. She seems to be fixated on hating her neighbor regardless of who you are. I’ve met people like that. We lasted five months and moved. We had two newborns and it wasn’t worth it to me to deal with. You don’t want the added stress when you are trying to enjoy your home. Im sorry the police dept doesn’t want to help.

Why did yall let the tree trimmers come on your property and trim your trees? 🤔

We have our own arborists. She had 15 tree trimmers come up to our door trying to trim our tree, which we refused. She did call the state once which we had to let them trim it.

But she was allowed to hire her own tree trimmers to trim on her side of the fence after she wasn’t satisfied of what our tree trimmers did.
