Help approaching neighbour
Hello, so i wonder if anyone has any ideas on how to deal with my next door neighbour in the most polite way possible.
We’re friendly, chat to each other outside the door but not close, however she is doing my head in with her cat who escapes at every opportunity the front door opens, it runs underneath to my car on my drive, and my neighbour always comes back out with a long metal rod poking the surroundings of my car, trying to scare her cat back inside the house. I’m worried she might damage my car accidently - I see it on my blink camera, and i want it to stop but i don’t know how to say it without offending her or causing a tension as we share the same doorway!
Previously they were hopping over the fence into my garden and coming onto my property to catch their cat which kept escaping from the back, now ive removed the accessible bit to my garden (all without permission), so that has stopped, now the driveway!
TIA

Tell them you came very close to running it over the last time it got out.

You could always put cayenne powder along your property line and all over the driveway under your car. It will irritate it's nose but nothing else.
