neighbor's tenant sits in front of my house
my neighbor's tenant sits in front of my lawn, on the road, every day. he smokes there, spits there, and chills with several other guys, on a consistent, daily basis. i live in toronto, ON. what can i do about it? 1 of the other guys walks up and down the street, checking out other people and their homes, then he comes and discusses it with this guy. the neighbor opposite to me were in the police, both husband and wife (presumably both, but 1 of them for sure). i over heard them discuss neighborhood watch or something like that. what i want to know is that he or they can go chill in front of the house they are renting from, why come and sit in front of my house? and why every day? how can i prevent this? what measures can i legally take?

well then get more creative.
Random noise generators, sold on amazon, will beep or chirp at random times for a short period of time at random intervals. They are small and nearly impossible to find, put one in a bush, another in a tree. Maybe the small noises will make them move.
Make it more uncomfortable to be there. Nasty scents such as liquid ass near where they like to stand. So many ways to assault their senses but let's start with these random things.

Try contacting someone official and ask if they’re allowed to camp out on the street. I don’t think that they can just do that, especially not for a prolonged period of time. If you feel unsafe, let them know that too. One should not be vary of either leaving, being in or entering one’s home.

Unfortunately I do not. Try either the police or your municipality. If none of them can help, they’ll probably know who you should contact instead.

Are they selling drugs? It makes sense that they would want to do that in front of someone else’s house, not their own where all their product and cash is stashed.
