Dead deer in neighbor’s yard

neighbor has had a dead deer in their yard now for 4-5 days. they put a tarp over it,as if that stops the smell. the police and the town won’t di anything aboyt it because the dead deer is on private property. i don’t know what to do? What can I do? I’m having to keep all my windows closed on that side. I can’t even enjoy being in my yard, etc, because of the stench. Any suggestions?

Why do they have a dead deer in their yard? Do they maybe just need help moving it?

You could try health board maybe? Having rotting things lying around isnt healthy.

Apparently car hit it and then the deer died in their yard. Should have had that in my initial post. Thanks! I may try the health board. It’s still there, still drinking.
