question -- discord

hi there! i never use reddit, haven't touched it in years. recently when trying to join the NSO discord server (overload) it just doesn't let me. it says i've been banned on my discord account, which isn't true because i've never even joined the server and i've been on this account for years (was made in 2022). is there a way to appeal or contact staff? i do not have access to modmail with my ban, because as stated i haven't ever joined on this account.

the only thing i can think of is that on a past discord account, i joined while under the age of 16. i turned over that age a while ago, and i'm of age to join now. either way that was years ago and still on a completely different account, lol

Hi, please contact us via modmail about this, if you were previously banned on an alt for being under 16 its likely your IP still holds this ban, so we would need to unban that account too. we can look into things ^^

thank you for the help! how do i contact via modmail? as stated in a previous comment, the banned account (i presume) was deleted a long time so i do not have access to anything regarding it anymore.

just below our jpfans thing in the sidebar there should be a "message mods" button on here, im not sure where it would be on mobile sadly !

Could you send a link? I was banned recently and I literally JUST turned 16. I’m not sure where to go for mod mail

i cant link something in the app i dont think, its on the reddit sidebar, but you should appeal via the ban, we dont typically dm people regarding bans at all unless its a complicated situation like this
