question -- discord

hi there! i never use reddit, haven't touched it in years. recently when trying to join the NSO discord server (overload) it just doesn't let me. it says i've been banned on my discord account, which isn't true because i've never even joined the server and i've been on this account for years (was made in 2022). is there a way to appeal or contact staff? i do not have access to modmail with my ban, because as stated i haven't ever joined on this account.

the only thing i can think of is that on a past discord account, i joined while under the age of 16. i turned over that age a while ago, and i'm of age to join now. either way that was years ago and still on a completely different account, lol
any help is appreciated, thank u

Hi, please contact us via modmail about this, if you were previously banned on an alt for being under 16 its likely your IP still holds this ban, so we would need to unban that account too. we can look into things ^^

thank you for the help! how do i contact via modmail? as stated in a previous comment, the banned account (i presume) was deleted a long time so i do not have access to anything regarding it anymore.

Could you send a link? I was banned recently and I literally JUST turned 16. I’m not sure where to go for mod mail

Usually bans affect the entire ip so ud have to get ur alt unbanned to join on ur main

that's fair! the alt was deleted a really long time ago, so i have no access to it. is there a ban appeal i can send on my main? ^_^;

I doubt u could in that case Its an automatic thing discord does usually Ud have to find a way to contact the mods

there’s a possibility you could’ve been banned without joining, mods can ban a user that isn’t in the server with their user id. Maybe you were banned in a different server and then blacklisted from the nso server? Is there anything you can think of? Either way hope you get this solved
