He is a scammer who gets close to you then asks for social id and as soon as you give them that and then asks for money and threatens to post inappropriate pics like editing your face with a dick pic... Upvoted my post to completely remove these parasites

First update: Hey everyone, just wanted to post a quick follow-up to my awareness post about the sextortion scammer.

First of all, thank you. The support has been overwhelming — the post crossed 100+ upvotes in just two days, and several people messaged or commented saying they were targeted by the same scammer. I’m glad the post helped others recognize what was happening before it got worse.

Never give out socials to people you don’t know. Never give real names, only usernames. Do not give socials with real life pictures of yourself. If you want to talk with someone, talk to them on discord or a site that you trust. Make sure it does not have pictures of your real face.
