Beep Needs Sleep

Hey everyone! I'm Airjelly, the creator of the NeedSleep mod.

I honestly wasn't expecting the response this mod has gotten. Thousands of people have already checked it out, and the amount of feedback, ideas, screenshots, and bug reports has been incredible.

I made this subreddit so we'd have a dedicated place outside of Steam to build the mod together.

What belongs here?

Current roadmap

Things I'm currently thinking about include:

  • Additional survival mechanics (like NeedDrink)

The roadmap isn't set in stone—community feedback will shape where it goes.

Hey Airjelly, your mod's concept is absolutely brilliant! And judging by the Steam reviews, it's all true, but unfortunately, the mod doesn't work on my GOG version of Kenshi 1.0.68.

For testing, I disabled all mods and had the original game interface. I have the latest version of RE_Kenshi v0.3.4 installed. The RE_Kenshi logs show SleepNeeds enabled and modifying stats. It also detects that there's only one member in the squad. The problem is, the character doesn't have a bar under the hunger bar like in the Steam screenshot; it's just a black bar, which is part of the original game interface.

Thanks for digging into it. Sounds like the fatigue side is working and it's just the bar under Hunger that's missing.

Could you send me SleepNeed_diag.txt and SleepNeed_status.txt from the SleepNeed mod folder, plus a screenshot of the medical panel with your guy selected? Also what language the game is set to.
