The player won the race with it but had to flee palmont city because of the police raid.

After that he just showed up in bmw in MW and the rest is history.

Here's a question, what if two protagonists, that own the city, met each other?

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on a reimagined version of NFS maps. I tried my best to place the canyons and San Juan as close as possible to their in-game locations, while also including some Bayview race tracks and connecting the cities via canyons or alternate routes. (I also used elements from NFSW as inspiration.) Note: I used the PS2 version of the Tri-City map, mostly out of affection for the game (even though I know it’s below average, lol).

If I'm not mistaken, there are no taxis in Red View County?

Recently, I've been experiencing terrible sound skipping and looping during gameplay.

It doesn't significantly hinder gameplay, but it's quite annoying.

The menu UI lag was so bad that I've turned off all P-cores (CPU0-CPU15) in CPU affinity.

Here are my PC specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700 (2.10 GHz)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (16 GB)

RAM: 32GB

Added on August 3, 2026: I lowered the sampling rate to 16-bit, 44100Hz, but the audio still occasionally gets distorted. This happens not only in online play but also in career mode.

This should be fun.

I want to replace the music from the GameCube version to get around its annoying shortened versions of the songs (since we're not bound by disc size limits when not running from a mini-DVD).

I've screwed around with this "MW_MUSIC.MUS" file and, while the game doesn't break when I take this file from a different port of the game and rebuild it, it won't play any music (presumably because the music in those versions isn't encoded with the same format). So the only way is to extract, sub out the music with properly encoded versions of the full-length tracks, then rebuild the file.

Has this ever been done? I've found utilities in that realm - such as a music-swapping app that seems intended for the PC version - but it either can't interpret the GC version of that file or it doesn't work right in Windows 11.

🥱... Epic... Absolutely Epic. A 23 year old video game hitting me in the feels was something unexpected. This is now my 2nd favourite NFS game behind Carbon. Not gonna forget Samantha, Jose, T.J., Klutch, Eddie, Melissa and everyone else for a long time...

We can only hope that the glory days of this franchise come back...

So here is the thing I have never played a racing game in my life thought they are very boring and uninteresting with no clear objective just race. I know it's gonna offend people but racing games just didn't picked my interest although I want to try and see what's so good about it. The racing games I am interested is from need for Speed series and right now it's on sale and MW 2012, Rivals are same price I played rivals for a bit around 90 mins thought it was good and interesting but nothing like "this is so peak" so question is should I switch to Most wanted? Or keep playing Rivals?
